It takes a lifetime's worth of dedication for most to finally make it to WWE and become a Superstar. The problem is, once you get there the work really begins. Proving to your employers that you're worth the time and deserve your place among wrestling's elite. Most choose to try and prove that in the ring and on the mic, but NXT star Edris Enofe has chosen a slightly different route.

A WWE Logo Tattooed On His Chest

The still-young Enofe took to Twitter this week to reveal he was getting a new tattoo. A WWE logo on his chest. Not a small logo either. As you can see in the video he posted, it takes up his entire pec. That was just the beginning too, as the finished artwork has been filled in with black and red ink making it difficult, if not impossible, to remove should Enofe ever want to get rid of it.

The NXT star, who only signed for the company in 2021, explained the thinking behind the decision to get the tattoo with USA Insider (H/T to Inside The Ropes for the transcription). “I will eventually be the face of this brand and I felt this was the best way to represent it. WWE has changed my life, and this is my way of saying thank you, by becoming an ambassador for the rest of my life,” Enofe explained.

An NXT Neck Tattoo Next

Prior to the interview going live, Enofe followed up the reveal that he was getting the tattoo with another short tweet suggesting he already regretted the decision. In the interview, Enofe explained that he meant he regretted not getting it sooner and is now planning on getting an NXT logo tattooed on his neck to go with his fresh, company-loyal ink.

What Enofe hasn't touched upon is whether WWE likes his new tattoo. While someone getting a massive WWE logo inked onto their chest might seem like something Triple H and co. would love, tattoos can be a point of controversy for Superstars. It has long been company policy that Superstars get permission before getting new tattoos since it alters their appearance. Since that appearance is used on toys and video games, it has been commonplace for a while that WWE gives their employees the go-ahead before getting inked.
